Cute as the dickens.... boy could I tell you some "Guinea stories"!! Hope loud noises don't bother you... they taste better than they sound lol They are cute as heck at that age though. Congrats and best of luck with them!! Kaza

they are already very talkative. we have a problem with guinaes running off on us. I hope we can do better with these

Mine were real roamers. But someday, when I am back living in the country; I'll give them a try again. They're just so darn cute as keets and so unusual as adults-I'd love to have some stick around.

I think what we may end up doing is keep several breeders locked up all the time, collect and incubate the eggs. then we would have several to turn out every year to repopulate the roaming ones
I would love to have some back in the timber when I move, but the preditors would have a feast

Oh... they are soo adorable!
I know a friend that used a mirror to keep her peacocks on her place, when nothing else worked. They just loved looking at themselves.
Not sure if it would work on guiness???

Am I the only person that has guineas that don't roam?? Mine never go more than half a mile form home. They always go back in the chicken house to roost at night too. I have 7 right now. I do not have anything kill mine either. I did have one get hit on the road.
