1) Each person sends 1 FQ to each person on the list.
I always liked individual mailings, because it's so much fun getting all those lil envelopes in the mail! (squishies)
Cotton is typically the prefered fabric... just think "quilt fabric". We could occassionally do a swap of diffrent fabrics and see what diffrent things people send.
I'll plan the first one to be for February. With no particular theme.
We can discuss if we want future swaps to have themes such as color, holiday, patterns (like flowers or critters etc), or just leave it as themeless.
It is best if the FQ's are prewashed though, so they are at their final size when cut.
Anyone wanting to be on the swap, post here that your joining us and email me at: kazahleenah@gmail.com with a mailing address. By February 20th, I'll send each participant the list of addresses and we can send our FQ's out. March 1st will start the next swap, for anyone new who wants to join us ... the 20-31st will be the mailing dates. Sound good to everyone? We still have a few weeks to get more swappers, we'll start with up to 10.

I just did my first fat quarter swap on HT, and now awaiting all those pieces of fabric. I like the way you are suggesting doing it. I need clairification - does each FQ have to be the same fabric to all, or just a FQ to each that signs up.
Thanks for the info - Angie

But Kathy - with FQ's you don't have to sew anything, just enjoy looking at the different squares of fabric. And if you want to, they can be hemmed and become napkins for your dinner table.

Neah, they don't all have to be the same fabric. Variety is the spice of life. No theme for this time, but if anyone would be intrested in a "themed swap" one of these months, let me know... Kaza

I need to make absolutely sure about something... It is one fat quarter per name? Per envelope - correct? Since others referred to squishies, I think larger amounts... Just please confirm. Cause I'm going stash raiding for the fabrics so I can mail on Monday. Thanks, Angie
