Last wk. I was trying to forward a pic that was in the Documents section of my computer to a friend, sending it as an attachment from my Yahoo e-mail acct. It used to be that if I wanted to say send something to someone or even myself that I found on-line, all I did was click on "File" up on the toolbar, then choose either "Send Page" or "Send File". That hasn't worked ever since. Now everytime I click on either of those two options, that same Yahoo page I was messing with that night asking me to fill in the info to do an attachment comes up. When I sent something before it just automatically sent it out of my Inbox with that e-mail address. I don't have a clue what to do even though I hunted around. Thank you. You said that this was for Yahoo mail. if so do you run the Yahoo toolbar? The yahoo tool bar has been known to cause some problems.

Mark No, Mark, this is the toolbar for my Inbox...Well, I just looked though, technically it's called, Outlook Express 6. Honestly, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Yahoo toolbar. I am sure my college daughter can figure it out when she comes home for Easter. I probably just clicked on the wrong thing or something. I just wanted to fix it myself because she always has a fit when she comes to visit...Gosh, mom, you always manage to mess up the computer when I am gone...Yet, she loves it. Makes her feel useful. Oh, Mark. False alarm. I got it figured out just this very minute. Wow, I clicked on the tools thing, I think, on the Outlook Express toolbar, and it said that was not my default mail handler, so I changed it and practiced by mailing something about herbs to myself. It worked. Seems I vaguely remember clicking on something asking me to change something, yet I didn't understand... Taught me a lesson anyway. Thank you for your help. Deb  |
