Just thought I'd share....I have a icky feeling. The thing is dh has the same icky feeling and we usually don't have that feeling together. Yesterday we sat down and the whole family went through our BOB's, and even went through our truck which is our BOV. This feeling is so much different then just feeling like you have to prepare. Something that keeps sticking in my head is...Don't hand over your guns. Do not give that freedom away! That seems unrealistic that someone of authority would make you hand over your guns, but thought I would mention it because for some reason its stuck in my head. The other thought that is in my head is, can times be so desperate that you would do anything to feed your family, keep your home, keep your job? Sometimes I feel like we are manipulated into getting that desperate feeling that this could be a total different direction that we are all going to be going in. (I can't really put into words what I mean...sorry) As an example..gas is high, what would happen if it was said if we all go get a chip in us, those that get the chip will get their gas at 1/2 price. How many people would voluntarily do that? How many people would have to just to survive? I'm hoping the feeling will pass, but in the meantime all we can do is know that we are stocked up, we are prepped, and our family is all on the same page.

It's good that you're all on the same page. Many families only have one member that's concerned and it causes a lot of tension. I don't have a BOB per se, but I do have everything the dogs & I would need in the trunk of my car! I have a large trunk and make best use of it. I have had those kinds of early warning feelings in my life, not about this subject but others and probably 75% of the time, they led me in the right direction.
