Soups and Chili Tip

Do you put left over soups or chili in a big bowl or big container?

After the soup or chili is cool, place then in a gallon freezer bag. The freezer bags can lay flat in the freezer and takes up less room then the containers.

Wow, by doing that I can probably get about 3 times as many meals in my freezer!

You know, when I buy ground beef, I'll divide it into 1lb zip-lock freezer bags and lay them flat in the freezer. It hardly takes up any room that way...I didn't think about doing that with leftovers.
