Oysters and shrimp. I don't like oysters anytime and I only like shrimp that's breaded & fried not in dips, casseroles or other funky recipes.

The space alien fruit that glows when it comes out of those tubs. YUCK. Marshamallows are good on smores NOT pies, potatoes, or fruit salad! Please don't put cloves on my ham, I have nightmares about the dental packing from my wisdom teeth. ICK
I'm not really fond of crossing the sweet and savory foods together. Can you tell? I don't want Miracle Whip, sweet pickles, or sugar in anything savory. Please.

I don't want coconut in anything. Oysters in the dressing only, please.

i never thought of myself as a picky eater..... until now. i don't like cherries unless they are in Au natural form. i don't think anybody has every tried to feed me a meal with oysters in it. but i could see spitting that out right quick. cloves. where did the vomit icon go. marshmallows. i agree with m&m marshmallows are not part of a meal . they only belong in snacks, like rice crispys, hot chocolate or Au natural over the fire. i don't know what the green and yellow things in fruitcake are, but I'm not repulsed by them. please don't tell me they are oysters. of course they might be cherries, in which case please make an addendum the my earlier statement about cherries. please note that the above statement is not an endorsement of fruit cake. fruit cake is the thing that is eaten after all other options have been exhausted. oh who am i kidding at this time of year just drizzle chocolate over it and I'll eat it.

OMG, that was funny! I like fruitcake but only the buttery, high priced, no weird unidentifiable fruit pieces kind-even better is home made but that's not happening anytime soon. ;D My mother always did the pattern of whole cloves on the ham thing and I was always the unlucky one who got a clove poked into my gum. I'm pretty easy going on food otherwise-just keep the oysters, shrimp and crab out of the dishes and I'll be a happy camper.

This is a great thread! Seafood is welcome here, lol. I've never had fruitcake in my life! I like coconut.
Can't stand cherries though...no matter if it is fresh, canned, dried.
I'm trying to think of the one thing I can't stand. Hmmm, oh! I don't like chocolate so that puts most goodies that other people have a big yuck for me. Although if they have white chocolate, yumyum.

I like oyster dressing.
I like fruit salad with cherries, citrus fruits, raisins (golden please), coconut, etc.
I like marshino cherries in anything, or by themselves. I love all things coconut.
I like fruit cake, Claxon type or expensive. I even eat the green and red and yellow pieces, candied green cherries, red cherries and candied pineapple....
I haven't meet any shrimp, except raw I didn't like. But especially boiled, fried, boiled, in gumbos, in soups, in dips =- Yeah....
I like ham with cloves, but better with pinapple and cherries toothpicked on it and basted with the juices.
So, I guess I get all the stuff you don't like. And I like dark chocolate better than milk chocolate.
Merry Christmas! Angie
