The packets said 25 seeds each-----but I have way MORE then 80 sprouting! I stopped pulling sprouting seeds at 72. I have lots left over still sprouting in the baggies but even 72 is way more then I can use. I wish I could give these sprouting baggies to someone else but I don't know any gardeners! These are Rosa ragosas, Rubra and Blonca.
I haven't even started hatching the virginia roses yet which are still in the fridge LOL
Its getting way outta control and I havent even started veggies and flowers yet for the garden!!
Maybe I will put them up on Freecycle and see if someone can take the baggies.

I wish I lived closer, I'd help thin things down. Free cycle or maybe even check at the Senior Center; maybe there's some older folks who would love the seedlings.

If it wasn't so bloody cold out I could mail the baggies to someone, but I think the sub freezing temps would get to the sprouts! Here are the sprouts in little pots....they are very little yet, just roots, no leaves yet.

Neat...I have never seen roses grown from seeds! I will have to try that after we move! Maybe a school would like them? I like the idea of the nursing home getting some! Great that they all came up! You will have to show us the results in a few months or so!!!!!

What about getting some cheap pots from the Dollar Tree or other Dollar only place and potting them up. I bet you could sell a started plant for $2-$3 or give a group discount-5/$8. You might make enough to pay for your other garden supplies.

Do you have a animal sale place (auction) by you? The one by us also lets you sell other things and plants/flowers go over really big. A lot of people will start veggies, and plants and they get pretty much what you would pay at a nursery.
