12 large manicotti shells 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups ricotta cheese 6 Tbs chopped fresh basil, or 2 Tbs dried 1 (26oz) jar spaghetti sauce, divided 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romono cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13X9 baking dish with non stick spray.
Cook pasta. Drain. Rinse with cool water. Allow to dry.
For filling stir together 3 cups mozzarella, with the ricotta, and basil. Using a teaspoon carefully stuff pasta with cheese mixture.
Pour 2 cups spaghetti sauce into baking dish and arrange stuffed shells over the sauce. Pour remaining sauce on top of shells. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
Bake manicotti for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Romono. Bake 10 minutes longer.

Nice idea, Rogue. I love this and have done it before, but I too often forget about pasta dishes. This recipe could have also been put under the vegetarian meals section. Thank you. Deb

If not for pasta dishes I would have probably starved to death as a child lol. You can move it if you would like
