Oh you have to try this, I got this recipe from a baby shower and it's really good..
1/2 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds (more if you like) 2 pkgs. crushed ramen noodles (keep flavoring pack for soup) 1 bunch of celery cabbage or nappa cabbage (chopped) 2 bunches green onions (sliced)
Brown and cool in frying pan the sesame seeds, butter, almonds, and ramen noodles, combine all ingrediants thoroughly in large bowl or 2 gallon zip lock, add dressing and serve.
dressing (may be made ahead-store in quart jar in frig, until ready to serve. 1 cup oil 1/2 cup vinegar 1 tsp. soy sauce 2/3 cup sugar (or you could use 1/2 cup of sugar if you rather.)

Woohoo, Yippee, Woot-woot!!!! I'm literally jumping for joy right now, I think this is my lucky day because I have found the answers to a lot of questions I have had lately and this is one of them!!!
I've been googling recipe's for a few days now trying to find this recipe, and all the one's I find are a little different then the one I wanted but this is it!
I had this at a baby shower last summer and loved it. It is so refreshing and a great summer dish.

Oh great!! glad i could help.. something was telling me i needed to post this..lol must of been karma.. I loved the taste of this salad.. it wasn't rich or like dripping with mayo.. it's just right glad i could help
