Anyone have any ground turkey recipes? Any are great but would love to find some casserole ones.

I found I can use ground turkey in every recipe that calls for ground beef. Turkey works well as Swedish Meatballs, Meatloaf, Lasagna & Stuffed Peppers. The only thing I don't care for is grilled turkey burgers-mine end up kind of dry and without much taste.

The easiest casserole recipe in the world......Layer mashed potato's, ground turkey, white gravy (country gravy), corn or green beans, another layer of mashed potato's, and top with grated cheese.
One of my kids favorites.

If you want moist turkey burgers you have to add a little something that will hold some moisture. I usually use 2lbs of meat and a cup or two of veggies (something mild)I add to the meat. If it won't stick together you can add egg. Some people use things like bread crumbs, crackers, or oats with milk. They work but I developed this when I was doing low-carb. A splash of milk or cream will also keep them yummy. Buying the higher fat ground turkey isn't a good idea since they just add the skins to it. It's not the 'right' fat for texture. Edited to Add: I send the veggies through the food processor so no one knows it's 'health' food.

I used to 'hide' veggies I'd put through the blender in meatloaf and meat balls-it was a way to get extra nutrients into my sons diet without any hassles or squinched up faces. I'll try that trick when making turkey burgers for the grill.
