Parmesan Potatoes, a family favorite. Deb Equal parts parmesan cheese and flour are easily proportioned to how many potatoes you need to feed the size of your family. The original recipe calls for: 1/2 c.-1 c. margarine, add extra as you turn them. 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese 1/2 c. flour Dash salt/pepper. People can add their own later. 5 med. peeled potatoes, cut to 1 1/2 to 2" chunks 1. Preheat oven to 375-400 degrees. Melt margarine or butter in metal or glass cake pan while pre-heating oven. 2). Mix cheese, flour, and seasonings in bowl. 3.) Wet potato chunks under running water or you could have soaked them in a bowl of water. 4). Roll each wet potato chunk in cheese mixture with folk or fingers. 5.) Place in baking pan on melted margarine. 6.) Every 15-20 min. turn each potato oven to evenly brown, adding more margarine as nessessary. 7.) Bake at 375-400 degrees for 45 min. to 1 hr. until crunchy brown on all sides. Can shut oven off and they will take care of themselves until you are ready to eat.

They aren't exactly low cal, though. When my daughter's make them, they do better with using less, but then a person has to monitor and turn them a bit more often to keep them from sticking. Deb
