1/4# finely diced bacon 1 1/2 cups chopped onion 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 3 tbs Dijon mustard 3 tbs finely chopped chipoltle chile, canned in adobo sauce 4 16oz cans of navy beans drained and rinsed 1 18oz jar of bbq sauce cooking spray
preheat oven to 350f. cook bacon in a large skillet over med high heat until crisp. remove bacon from pan. combine all ingredients and toss well. spoon mixture into a baking pan coated with cooking spray and bake for 45 mins.

I love the flavor of Chipotle peppers. I'm going to try these for a BBQ I'm planning. Thanks, when I first saw the recipe my first thought was Blazing Saddles. Of course, enough of these beans and you might have a blazin saddle.
