3 Tblsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cup butter 2 cup sugar 2 tsps. vanilla 3 eggs 1 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Mix all ingredients well and pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
I did this recipe in a deepdish pie shell, but I think it should make 2 regular pies. Had too much filling for one deep dish, so just baked the filling in a pyrex bowl LOL I would think the time would be a bit long for the baking, I did not bake the deep dish as long as this says. I think @ 1 hour should be enough time, just check it with a knife to determine if it is done. Hope you enjoy!

I make buttermilk pie, haven't tried a pecan version so this will be my next dessert! The first time I told someone up in the Northern States about buttermilk pie, they cringed. ;D Must be a southern thang!

Ive made my pecan like that but I add a 1/2 cup of JD. Makes it all dark and perty and tastes good too.
