I have posted a Buttermilk Nut Pie before but this one is my grandmother's recipe.
3 eggs
1 ½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 stick oleo, melted
½ cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Beat eggs with sugar and flour until well mixed. Add oleo, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir mixture gently. Pour in pie shell. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
Don’t let the name of this pie fool you, you have to taste this pie!
