1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 package German chocolate cake mix
1 cream cheese, (8 ounce) soften
½ stick butter
1 lb. powered sugar
Grease and flour a 13 x 9 pan. Spread coconut and pecans in pan. Prepare cake mix (German chocolate) according to package direction. Pour batter over pecan and coconut mixture. In bowl add softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. Stir until well mixed. Put on top of cake mix by spoonfuls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cake will be shaky but will set. We usually have to cook this cake 1 hour or until done, depending on your oven.
