Sour-Cream Prune Pie - Svesketærter med Flødecreme Makes 1 1 cup dried prunes -- soaked 3 hours in cold water 4 eggs -- separated ½ cup sour cream ½ teaspoon lemon extract ½ cup sugar ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 pinch salt Whipping cream -- optional Pit the prunes. Pull into chunks. Beat the egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored. Add remaining ingredients, except egg whites and whipping cream, and mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into above mixture. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake until firm in a preheated 375º oven. Serve topped with whipped cream if desired.
