Well we made it. The trip went very well, but when I put her with Nigel he began acting like a proper pain in the fanny! Jumping on her, jumping on me, getting in between us and pushing her away. Making those awful snorting noises! I clued in straight away that he was jealous of her. He had to show her right away who was the "macho man". So I left them alone to get to know each other without me in there. She bawled for about an hour and a half! Man, can that girl wail!!! All is quiet now, Nigel is laying in the sun and she is just wandering about checking out the new digs. I can finally breathe! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........ I'll take some pics as soon as I've mustered the energy to go back out there. I'm pooped!

Oy! Sorry it took so long. Yesterday was a bit stressful listening to all the bawling! Today I had to work. She's settled in a bit better today and not surprising, she a has a touch of laryngitis ;D. She's got a set of pipes on her like Celine Dion!!!! Hmmm.....Celine........ Anyway here she is ;D i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/BrahmaMama/doeling1014.jpgI hyperlinked them for you so folks can see her right away! ;D

What do you think of her folded up ear? Can you see it?!? I think I'm going to massage it with bagbalm and tape it "out" with masking tape tomorrow.

Well since I was a teen in the 60's and those 'flip' hairdo's were all the rage; I thought she looked positively in style!! She is such a cutie and Nigel already seems to be taking an interest in her-they will have really cute babies! ;D

Sorry Kathy, no babies from Nigel, he's a wether. I'll likely be sending her back to the breeder for breeding. Look at her left ear, it's folded TIGHT, like a piece of paper! Weird ey? I guess that's what you get when you have 2 other siblings taking up room in Momma's belly!

Oh now I see what you mean, I thought you were talking about that cute little flip on her right ear. Ya, being crowded in there can do some rearranging. Heck Cody my son was born with his ears off set from too long of a labor-and he wasn't sharing space with two siblings. I want to see pics once you tape that ear! You may be onto something. Too bad, Nigel is such a good looking fella but with only a few goaties; keeping a buck is a hassle. I had my own but I had 23 does! It made it worthwhile but it was aromatic during certain times of the year.
