Murray Greys

Have been looking for a couple gentle halter trained and easy to handle cattle.
Think I might of found at least one. She is a Murray Grey...everything I have been looking for. Only reason she is for sale is because she keeps loosing calves. If she does not Calve by April 1...Breeder would like to find her a pet home. Am in need of grass eaters...to help keep the brambles from taking over the woods.
Am looking into a couple of steers to be her buddy. Will eat one steer a year...
So will see what happens.
Do like the looks of the Murray Greys...

I didn't know what a Murray Grey looked like so I went searching.
They are impressive, although those bulls look a bit too intimidating for my taste. The bulls look huge!

Here's a pic for anyone else who's never seen a Murray Grey. That little calf is a cutie.

The couple I have seen...were very, very gentle. I have pictures of her...let me see if I can post them.

The write up I read said they're the gentle meat builders. That's what you need-gentle! The cows look plenty gentle but I found this one muscular bull that was an amazing specimen but boy oh boy he was a big guy!

Those look like a very good investment. I hope you can get them.

Kathy,.that is the same one..different lighting and some change their coat color a bit between winter and summer.
I hope it works out....
She sounds like a sweet heart.

berge, they are beautiful. They look similar to dexters.
I'm going to do some research about them.
