This is my love, Obama the llama. He has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, he batts them, and I swoon. LOL.

Oh, Llamas are so cute! The guy we used to buy hay from tried to give us one once. I thought it must be a mean/bad/wild/something because he wanted to just give it away. It was all white, and I think, a male. We declined. We didn't have room for a llama at the time anyway. But it was close... I think we could have fit him in the back of the truck with the dogs...

He is gelded. He is a guard animal. He watches every movement out in the barnyard area. He is afraid of Suzi and Jimbo pig and will move out of their way quickly. He will not let me touch him , but comes running to eat from the feedbucket on the fence. He follows me all over when I am feeding and watering outside.

He's pretty. Do you shear him and spin the fiber or is he more of a guard animal only? Do you think he'll get to where you can touch him in time or is he pretty much set in his ways?
