I'm seriously thinking about diggin the fencepost holes, cuttin extra cedars and ...... just thinkin... she's sooooo pretty!! and at 14 HH at a yearling, she should mature 15.2-16.1 (ish)

Very pretty! The neighbors to the east of our 'contingency' property have just gotten two paint geldings. I don't know anything about horses, but these two look nice to me. I've always liked that coloring. I seem to remember reading about terms something like 'piebald' and 'skewbald' (?) with reference to paints. Does that have to do with one or another color being dominant in their markings?

Piebald is Large irregular patches of black and white (usually black on a white base). Skewbald is any other colour or colours and white i.e. Bay, brown, chestnut, grey, dun or palomino and white. There may be some black marks in addition. At a glance, both pretty much appear the same actually. The filly I pictured above, would be a piebald. Kaza
