Finally after months of no eggs my girls are starting to lay again. It begain as one egg every so often then two and today there were 6 ;D Our winter has been warmer than usual but I don't think that is it. Most are finished with their molt and the days are getting longer, I think we are up to a little over 8 hours of day light.
I'm just happy to be getting eggs again no matter what the reason. I really hate to have to buy eggs especially from the grocery store.

It does take some adjustment to get back into buying those pale store bought ones. Congratulations on your girls cooperating again and gifting you with eggs!! ;D

Mine are sort of a mish mash these days. My standard Cochins are by far my favorites. I have some cross bred hens and a few other breeds tossed in. They lay good brown eggs that are huge, at least as big as the store bought jumbos.
