Really... I had a surprise this morning! I might have to wait for the other chicks but this one obliged my desires and pipped early... He's now residing in my breast pocket because mama has a bad habit of killing the little ones. I tried to put him in with the other mama but the other chicks decided he looked like lunch. sigh... So he'll be in the house for the time being...

And had another one pip today!!!! A little RIR girl. (she has a dot) Anyway, for the better part of the afternoon I had both of them in my pocket. They finally started makingme crazy cause they are so loud so I got the carrier and the heating pad and now they are snuggled up together in it asleep. YEA! I have one more to hatch. It should have hatched with these guys but they're a couple of days early so I'm going to wait. If the hen won't quit brooding, I'm going to stick some more under her...

( I must make it bigger soon, they are growing like weeds) I should post more pic's soon too! Ain't it nice?!?!
