The thread about life is tough on the joke forum reminded me... My boss and several from his family were making breakfast and someone had brought brown eggs to cook. His sister said that she couldn't eat those brown ones....
are you ready???
She only ate the "man made white ones"!!!!!!
And she was deadly serious! She still won't eat brown eggs.

That reminds me of the one I heard on one of the other homesteading forums, where the lady offered some of her eggs to the neighbor and he replied that he wouldn't eat anything that came out of a chicken's butt, and she asked him where did he think his white eggs came from and he said THE STORE. If there is ever a SHTF scenario, those people will simply starve... ~Lannie

Well here is another one for the egg stories - I met a woman that bought only white because she thought the brown ones had been fertilized. I've also had arguments with people that thought blood spots were developing chicks and that chalza (excuse the spelling, the white rope like stuff holding the egg to the sides of the shell) was rooster sperm.
When I was in college I went to dinner with a guy that told me while he was eating a steak and baked potato that he would NOT eat carrots because he didn't think it was healthy to eat something dug out of the ground. He loved salted peanuts, too. I ruined his life that evening.
Also met a woman that thought you picked potatoes off a bush.
