The guy at the feed store called this evening and said he had to get rid of a bunch of Cornish x's...about 50 of them! He had only just gotten them in yesterday but had quail coming and didn't have space for them. So I got them at cost!!! Also picked up 2 scobies and 3 turkeys. I'm running out of brooder space!

LOL! No wonder Crashyitis is running rampant in the US! ;D They certainly don't do things like that here in Canada. Feed stores don't just 'carry' birds, you have to to special order them in and they hunt you down if you don't pick them up!!! If they did 'carry' birds - I'd probably be in BIG trouble!  ;D Congratulations! So how many birds do you have in total now? I hope you have a barn!  I'm going to be freaking out on Wed. My order comes. I have to whip together another brooder, the one I have is too small and "invent" another heat lamp... Thank Heaven for patient husbands!  |
