The first time I seen this on TV I thought it was funny.
But then I started doing this.
I often massage my dog. It increases blood flow and it also increases circulation. It strengthens the bond between pets and owners. She loves getting massages.
When I get home from work at night she will lay on the bed and stare at me until I get off the computer. She is wait on me to go to bed so she can get her massage. I am not kidding she will NOT go to sleep without it every night!
Do you massage your pet?

Some times I do. If one of the dogs seem to be hurting, I will give them a massage, right along with a buffered aspirin.
And some times I can tell they just want to be rubbed just as a treat. So I will massage them.
