8 years ago when I got my baby (dog) my family gave me a puppy shower. They surprised me with gifts and brought food over. It was so much fun. ;D

My niece has a new puppy, not sure of the name of it but I think it is a mini Taco Bell Dog (Chowawa?)
(I know I botched that spwlling up!)

Anyway, we are giving her a puppy shower next Tues. night. We are going to surprise her. ;D

I never thought about it but why not? Those little pups need all sorts of stuff. A kitten shower would work too! I like it-I'm going to remember that for when a friend gets a new pet!

Since my folks did this for me 8 years ago I have had 3 or 4 friends do this. It is always fun.
