Most times I call my dog 'Baby' but her name is something else. LOL
She answers to both names.
Do you have other names you call your pet?

My cat Mia is known as Kitty Bears or KB. Not sure why.

Since my three adolescent kittens are litter mates-usually I just call them baby although they do have names and will come individually if called by name!! But usually it's "come here babies, I've got a treat for you."

I think if my cat was named Twinkle, DH would rename her Twinkie. She lives to eat. In fact, most of the time she won't bother coming when called unless you say, "Are you hungry?!?". The other day I called to DH to ask if he was hungry and KB came sliding around the corner like her tail was on fire. She was so disappointed that I wasn't talking to her. Juju, you have a dog named Rug? That's pretty appropriate for one of the dogs I used to have. ;D /VM

Well, her real name is Cat, but everyone calls her "Kitty Cat", so even the vet changed the name on her records the last we went. She meows and comes to both that, and "Where's my Precious Girl". I think it helps keep her honest to call her sweet names. Deb

Just remembered my sister used to have a cat named DC her husband named her. It was short for D**ned Cat *laughing* My father has always called my cat "Rotten Piece of Catmeat". He says it conversationally as if it really were her name. Even when he'd feed her, he would call her by saying, "C'mere, you rotten piece of catmeat." He hates cats and she hates people so I think that's why they get along so well. /VM

Nikita gets called Nik Nik and when she's or my little granddaughter are being cute or ornery both get called (affectionately) Sinkerbutt. Only thing is granddaughter says, 'no, you stinkerbutt grandma back' Added Later: However I bet 3 or 4 of my cats think their nickname is: GET DOWN

Loki, the cat, is also known as the evil spawn of satan and schizoid. Clementine, the lovebird, is also known as the evil green feathered demon. Dot is that grey bird.
