I ordered pet steps not long ago because my dog has hip dysplia (I butchered that word!) and she is over weight. Sometimes she has trouble getting up and down off the couch and bed. I finally got my pet steps today. I think she is going to really like this I have small 3 steps in the living room at the couch. I think I am going to order the 4 step for the bed. It was funny when I put them together I made her go up and down several times to see if it was going to work for the couch and the bed. Finally she when she got down the last time she ran off. I think she was tired. But then I thought what great exercise for her!

Did you get the foam ones or wooden ones? I've seen steps and ramps for pets and wondered if they would be afraid to use them. I guess if it gets them where they're going (especially the bed or couch!) then they'll use 'em!

One of our dogs uses the other dog as a step. The big Lab, Thumper, is always sacked out in front of the couch, and when Flash, the smaller mutt, wants to get up there, he just steps up on Thumper and then up to the couch. Thumper doesn't seem to mind, though. I just love Labs! ~Lannie

I got the foam ones. I think they are a tad small for her buy they are OK for the couch. I am going to order the bigger steps for the bed.
