The Wild Wet Woods, or, when faced with a Minnesota February, the potted parsley. Either is suitable for Marchwind's cat Iaka to do a convincing Kipling ;D

*laughing* DH's cat does the same thing with my spider plant. He calls her Jungle Kitty ;D Unfortunately, the target of her stalking is usually my aging cat with poor eyesight /VM

You REALLY REALLY need to enter this in a contest!!! Ditto that. What is that in the back of the cat ? Looks like it is giving off smoke and a ballon ( ? ) is in front of it ?

Uh... I'm proud of the pic, but I don't do contests. If one of you wants to enter it somewhere, you're welcome to add my name to it and do so - send me any prize money if it wins, LOL!
Juju, Iaka is sitting on a wood shelf that's next to a smaller shelf next to a blue-painted wall, and the balloon thing is a glass hummingbird feeder waiting for spring. Two of them, actually - the yellow one right behind her, and the dark blue one barely visible to the left of that. The "smoke effect" is just marbled light-'n-shadow from the window.
VM, there are several fun-stalkers in this house, to match the few suckers-for-being-stalked (none of which are aging with poor eyesight though!) At least with a selection of either variety, the stalked individuals have a chance at getting a break here and there, LOL! Iaka is one of the quiet ones that belongs to neither category.
Out here in "my" porch room, I have two of the former and one of the latter, which makes for some lively chases... but I have to say that old cranky Danielle (stalked one) is getting better the longer she lives in a relatively small space with Margaret and Marc (stalkers) - after 12 years of running and hissing, she's finally learning to actually PLAY with them, in a bitchy sort of way. Blows my socks off, hehehe.
