I'm not the only one to watch birds outside that east window: ...and I'm not the only one to lounge on the rocking chair, either: Isn't her color just so striking?? She seemed a lot paler back when I got her at 8 weeks of age. Maybe it's just the Minnesota light that makes her glow, who knows. I bet she'd look really cool on some sort of Hawaiian print, LOL!

Vera, she's gorgeous!! She sure seems interested in those birds! ;D She looks like such a cuddler too!

I really like her eyes, too. I bet she was concentrating so hard on those birds that she probably didn't even really realize you were taking her picture!
Some cats must develop their color as they get older because when mine was a baby, she was completely cream with dark tips on her ears.
She's a beauty!

I think all our orange ones look better now than they did as kittens, but their nutrition is better. Miss Kitty is showing more white hairs now, but she is 12 years old. The Siamese was white with just a touch of dark brown on the ears, feet and muzzle - now he is more silver.
You can tell that she is a healthy, contented cat. Good job Vera!
