Two new puppies coming

I have 2 new puppies coming in from So. Africa in 3 weeks and I'm so evcited. Will post pictures when they get here. Most wouldn't know this breed, they are
Boerboel's.

I'm so tickled.

I had to find out what they looked like-will yours look anything like this? I love all of the Mastiff breeds!! ;D

I found some info that I thought I'd share on Boerboel's.

A Boerboel is a large, mastiff type dog breed from South Africa. The word boerboel is Afrikaans for "farmer's dog".

"They are obedient, intelligent, self-assured and bred to have an extremely strong guard-dog instinct. Perhaps surprisingly, this does not make the dog a vicious unsociable animal, because the Boerboel was in constant proximity to the farmers and their children, a badly behaved or aggressive dog was unacceptable and would, perhaps rather harshly, have been put down. This very selective and practical breeding ethic has created a loving pet with an even temperament that is happiest in a family environment for which he can put his protective instincts into action when required."¹

The pups coming are both females.
I will be looking for a male in the future but not this year.
I am getting into Protection sport and bite work.
Looking forward to training my girls and having fun with the protection sport.

Cara, I've tried & tried to get that site to open but I keep getting page cannot display.

I even tried a Google search using the kennel name-same thing.

I'll keep trying but I wanted you to know-I didn't forget or ignore you; I'm just having a heck of a time getting it open.
