.....ate a sponge! Not just any ordinary sponge, but the kind that have a sponge on one side and a scrubby pad on the other.... It's so unlike her, she's my favorite, how could she, why would she......? I only know this because she barfed it up, (little prezzie for me to find this morning) And here, she had me believing all along it was the racoons that got into the trash......... I'm so disappointed, I don't feel at all bad that she has a tummy ache...... ~ The end ~ ;D

maybe she is jealous of your new goat. the sponge eating might just be her frustration.
you must be a really good cook if even the sponges get eaten. ;D

:oI hope all of it came up and nothing is going to clog up his bowels later! Years ago there was a company selling diet pills that were 'absolutely safe' - they guaranteed you would not eat as much. Well, it turned out they were selling these little dehydrated sponges about the size of your pinky when 'wet'. You were supposed to take one a day at the same time every day. Within 24 hours your body should have passed the first one and have the second one in your stomach - so what happens? People take two instead of one, someone gets clogged up and surgery is needed and they get sued and shut down. So I hope your baby chewed the sponge up realllllll good and does not have similar problems. You should know pretty quick though.

How's she doing this morning?? I have heard of dogs eating odd things but geesh a sponge with the scotch brite backing is wild. It must be like Dirty said-you're cooking is just too good to pass up; even if it's just what's left on a sponge. I hope she's back to her perky self this morning.

Well, the up side would be REALLY clean innards! Ok, so maybe not. However, I can tell you that an entire couch can and will pass through a great dane! And so will flip phones. And so do small stuffed animals. However, little bouncy balls don't pass very well. I think it's cause they don't squish very well.

I am glad you dog is OK, what dogs won't do to get attention uh? I often think they do things just to see what we will do.
