The ancient city of Pompeii was buried under ash from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in A.D. 63. Excavations revealed that many of it's residents were dog owners. Mosaic signs at the house gates depict dogs, accompanied by the words Cave Canem - "Beware of Dog".
If archaeologists excavated your home 2,000 years from now, how could they tell a dog lived there ?

The "I love my pup" hanging feeder, giant watering dish, bones (what is left of them) and the remains of the insulated dog house and pen???

A hundred million dog toys. Large beds. Elevated water and feeders. Yup, I believe they could tell that either we abused the snot out of our kids or we had big dogs...
