Have you known a pet to save your or someone else's life?
I know a few years ago my uncle's dog saved my little cousin's life. The kid was going toward the bushes, the dog ran over there and wouldn't let him go any further. My uncle thought something was wrong the way the dog was acting so he went over there. When he pulled the bushes back there was a rattler snake there.
I have heard of dogs or cats saving people's lives from fires.
Do you know of any animal that has saved a life?

My first Doberman, Ninja, "saved my life" once. I was burning trash in the fireplace - had a cut up pizza box made of corrugated cardboard - and at one point the fire blazed up pretty hot. Ninja took my wrist in his teeth and tried to pull me away from the fireplace. (Of course, I knew it was OK, but he didn't.) When he couldn't get me to move, he wedged himself between me and the hearth, closed his eyes and just sat there, baking on one side, but blocking me from the fire. I took the hint and moved away! In MY opinion, that dog saved my life! And in his opinion, too, I imagine. I sure miss that guy... ~Lannie

Well... the chickens found both snakes we've had this year. One poisonous and one not.
Bella "points" to anything she doesn't understand...Oh wait! You said human life... Hmmm. Well, I guess that doesn't really count since she wants me to take care of it for her.
