My neighbor’s grandson was over her house the other day. He is about 7 years old. My neighbor and her grandson were at the fence petting my dog. I walked out to talk to my neighbor. Her grandson kept calling my dog, “Baby”. I noticed it but I didn’t say anything. About that time the postman walked up, my dog ran to him because she knew he would have a treat for her. He said here you go, Millie. I said, Millie sit. (I always make her sit when I give her a treat).
The little boy looked confused, his grandmother said, I thought her name was Baby? I said her name is Millie but I call her Baby most of the time. The grandmother said, All I ever heard you call her was Baby. We laughed. The little boy said, So what is her name? I said you can call her anything you want to. He said, I think I will call her Baby. I said OK, she is my baby and she sure acts like one sometimes.

Aww, that's cute. I know I always called Chi Chi 'sweetie' so most everyone thought that was her name! I think it's neat that your mailman brings her treats.

That's cute! It's funny how dogs get use to someone giving them treats. My mom has a little dog and she knows exactly when the Schwan man is coming because he gives the dog treats.
Our dogs know when I buy dog treats at the store even when I hide them. They pester me to death until I give them one.

He has been giving her treats since she was 5 weeks old. LOL He gives all the dogs on his route treats, they all like him to. LOL
When he is off on Tuesdays my dog get plum mad at the sub post-woman for not giving her a treat. She will pout until I give her one.
