The other night I came home from work I noticed my dog had thrown-up in several places. It was clear. I let her out a few minutes so she could eat grass but she was still throwing up. In my pea size brain, I was thinking what am I suppose to do if she is throwing up I just can’t remember. So I got my 1st aide book out for dogs. Then I saw it! I give her peroxide! (This is per my vet from times before). I gave her 1 tablespoon of the stuff. Then I rubbed her belly about an hour and she was feeling better then we went to bed.
As soon as I went to bed I sat straight up! I was supposed to give her Pepto Bisma not Peroxide! Pepto Bisma is supposed to be for her upset tummy, Peroxide is supposed to make her throw up! (Pepto Bisma and Peroxide is per my vet from many times before) I felt so bad but it was to late. STUPID! But she slept all night so it must have worked, I felt bad I gave her the wrong thing.

Starfire, you sure lucked out or else whatever originally made her sick was cured by the Peroxide cure! ;D I'm glad she's feeling better. I hate it when the animals get sick and can't tell us what is bothering them.

Peroxide bubbles so like you drinking soda, it may have been just enough to calm the ickies. Next time when you need her to throw up, make sure to give her more! ;D

Well, the vet said to give her 1 Tablespoon wait 10 minutes and give her 1 more Teaspoon. (He may have said 3 times - but I have never had to do it 3 times) (In times pasts that is what he said)
I would have given her that second dose but she was so calm and enjoying the belly run I forgot to give her the second dose. I kept falling asleep rubbing her belly. She would kick her legs as to say keep on. LOL Finally I just had to go to bed.
