How would you describe your pet's personality?
My bird is low key unless something is bothering him then he starts hollering.
The dog is happy go lucky all the time esp. when company comes over. She is def. a Mommy's girl.

I don't have a pet right now but ChiChi my late cocker spaniel was a love bug who was happy all the time. She never turned down attention from anyone. That little stubby tail would just about fly off when company showed up. Yesterday I was going to Krogers and there's a Petco nearby. The NE AR pet rescue had an adoptathon going on. I found a dog I really really want. His name is Scruffy and he is some sort of wire haired terrier/shitzu mix. He's such a loving, happy little guy. Of all the people who came over checking out the dogs; he stayed right there with me & seemed to enjoy my attention. It was late in the day so the volunteers were loading the dogs to take them back to their foster homes. They'll be back at Petco on the 30th so if he's still available; I may have me a new pet. ;D

That would be so cool for you Kathy if the dog was still there! Be sure to let us know if things work out for you.
Old dog we have is loyal, faithful old friend. The greatest dog. Will do anything for a treat.
The younger dog is silly, but protective. A little shy at times with new things. Will do nothing for a treat! lol
The cats are mental. One fixed female, four boys...all outside. Great hunters, but act like they are starving half the time even though they are plump! Don't listen worth a darn! In the rainy season it looks like my van was attacked by cats with all the paw prints they put all over it!

3 dogs and 5 cats... it would take too much space!

My Kitty Cat has a personality a little too similar to mine. She is a very vocal cat, different sounds for what she wants/needs. In the mornings she tears around, but mellows by afternoon, then is wore out by night time. Kind of like me when my morning caffeine wears off. She is so funny, though. I play loud tunes while I am working. I can tell which are her favorites tunes, because the minute they come on, she is right over cuddling the big stereo speakers or fusses because she wants to dance. Yes. You just hold her and bop around, a quality time thing she enjoys. Cat dancing. That is about as wild as we get out here in the boons. She serves a lot of roles for me. She makes for a really good alarm clock, what I call being on Cat Time. I can't say that she hunts, but she enjoys stalking crickets so I can vacumn or sweep them up. The absolutely most special thing, though, is when she is napping, if I walk by and pet her, and say, oh, you are such a delicate girl, she stretches out and bellies up every time. I thought only dogs did that. People think that is so weird. Deb

When I get a new pet I always wait till I've had it for a few days before I name it. I like to know their personality a bit before I name them, so I can choose a fitting name.

When I first got my dog I started to name her Tigger, after Tigger in Pooh, because she acted just like him. But now she is older she has settled down.

My cat is a hateful thing who will go out of her way to make someone feel like they're less than nothing. Her one redeeming quality is that she loves me. ;D She snuggles up to me and purrs and purrs.
DH's cat is really cute but knows it and uses it to her full advantage. However, it's clear from the way she stalks us when she thinks we're not looking that she would eat us in a second if she was bigger than us.
