I found $20 in my bird’s water dish this morning when I uncovered him! How in the world did $20 get in his water cup?
It took me all morning to figure that out! I had $20 in my hand when I left the house yesterday, I was going to stop and get gas. But instead of going on out the door, I remembered I didn’t turn the alarm on before I left. I must have laid the $20 on top of the cage. I turned the alarm on and left.
I went to the gas station; I couldn’t find $20 so I paid with my card. I covered the bird up last night and did not see the $20. I never did find that $20 until this morning. I rinsed the $20 off real good. You never know where money has been do you? Isn’t it funny how we can get sidetracked?

Starfire, that's funny. I'm glad your bird isn't the type to rip paper into tiny shreds. Maybe he was just saving up for a shopping splurge at Petco!!

That is so funny! Things like that crack me up, because it really does make you stop and wonder what the heck happened, lol.

Well ya know, Valentine's Day is coming up and I'll bet he had plans to get you something nice as a surprise. Either that, or he has his eye on a lady bird friend as a potential Valentine. Whichever the case may be, it looks like his plans have come to naught. Another cold, lonely Valentine's Day. Poor little guy! Try to not be overwhelmed by guilt over this, OK? ;D
