I am glad my dog has always had Science Diet.
Everybody at work kept asking each other, or people was calling me on the phone, wanting to know what I feed my dog.

Lupine, I went to the link you posted and I can't find the info about the dry foods. Please post it, even if it's a cut & paste-I feed Iams dry to Lucky and I hadn't heard anything about the dry being recalled. I've been worried that the testers would find more products that were contaminated.

Foster & Smith have safe pet food. They have a private lable and do not put those fillers in their products. Glad I changed my son's cat food over early last year.

Well, they do now, because they're recalling some of their foods, too. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18336622/I don't know which cat food you're feeding, but this one has been recalled (rice protein is contaminated with melamine). Doctors Foster & Smith Chicken & Brown Rice Formula Adult Lite Cat Food. It was sold in containers with net weights of 3 and 7 lbs. with a code date of best used by March 13, 2009.~Lannie

That is not the one she is getting but I will go check their site again. Wasn't on there that long ago. Man,,this is getting silly. And people think the Gov inspectors can keep any food safe,,ha! What a load of bull! Thanks for letting me know!
