i will be fencing an area for my lab,Sam, this spring. but i would like to put a fully enclosed kennel in one corner.
i do plan on getting another lab once the fence is up. so the kennel would need to be big enough for two dogs. any size recommendations?

A 12'wide X 24' long run,,will give them enough room to run around and play. A 10'X10' kennel house attached outside the run but set up to be able to open from both inside the run..ie.. to let the dogs out. And the outside part..so you can have acess to the Kennel house without having to go in the run and not take up their running room inside the run, with their house. Know more than what most folks do..but find the dog(s) are happier.

Will they be in it all the time? or will they have access to a yard to play in? With a yard, I'd suggest a 10X10 (or bigger) 'kennel' for the corner.

they will have access to a bigger yard. i just think i would feel better if i had a completely enclosed area for when i'm not home.
the local animal control says they have had wolfs jumping fences and killing dogs. he says the only ones he's seen were small dogs. but my dog is too nice, he wouldn't fight anything.
