Dogs In Seatbelts
Just wondering does your dog wear a seatbelt or some other type of harness in the car?
I used to have one for Millie but she would always get out of it so I quit using it.
I rarely take her anywhere because it is either to hot or to cold, you know the weather has to be just right.
I really would like to get her something now. Guess I need to check them out at PetCo or somewhere.
So what do you use if you use anything at all?

I have a harness but like you-in this area the weather has to be just right. I always worry about breaking down-if I get too hot or cold it's one thing, but I wouldn't want to subject Lucky to those conditions. I got my harness online but I can't remember the site. I'll look & see if I can find it. I'm sure Petco or Petsmart would be a good choice since you could take Millie with you-for a fitting.

I don't but I have big dogs. Funny that you bring this up because this week I am taking all my mom's stuff to storage, because she is getting her whole house refloored with wood. Since I am the only one not working at a job the kids and I are taking load after load to storage for her. Well, mom has a little dog and she has this booster seat of some kind that is like a shelf up under where the head rest is. On this there is a harness that the dog fits in. I asked about it because I had never seen such a thing, and mom says it is so the dog can see out the window, but not fly through the air if there is a wreck.
I can see where it is a good idea, but I had flash backs of buckling my kids into carseats when they were little and it made me laugh because this was a dog, lol.

(smaking myself up side the head) now why haven't I thought about taking her to PetCo to fit her in a harness. I do take her there sometimes anyway, it just never entered my thought to do that!
