I got up this morning and my baby just wasn't acting her usual self. She acted like she was afraid to move, like she was second guessing herself. When I came home from work Thurs. night I am pretty sure she was OK so I wasn't sure what had happened during the night. I knew I didn't get up during the night to let her out, I was just confussed as to her behavier.
I finally took her to the vet because she just wasn't acting right. Anyway, he could tell something was wrong when he walked in. She loves the people there and she wasn't jumping around as usual. He examined her and when he got to her neck she left on a welp. He ended up giving her a shot and some pills. We think she must have fallen off the couch or bed and landed wrong or it was arthitis (however you spell that). I told him she has steps for the bed and the couch and she used them most of the time, but sometimes she don't. I have to try to keep her neck still and no jumping for a week. That's won't be easy. I guess she is going in her crate this week when I leave the house. She hasn't been in her crate in years. But it is for her on good. The shot pretty much put her out the rest of the day. By, night time she was a lot better.
I am glad I was off and went ahead and took her to the vet. I would have hated for her to suffer all week-end. Isn't it funny, you just know someting is wrong with your animals just like if they were your children.
I know I am rattling. But I was really worried about her, I thought she may have had a stroke or something.
