I admit, I get presents for Lucky & Goldie and give the outside cats a special meal for the holidays. Do you get or give your pets something special at the holidays even though they don't know how to read a calendar??

We give Bachelor a chew toy. He loves them, for about a week, then they're pretty much ignored. Pepper doesn't have any fondness for toys, so when both dogs get their 'chewies' he gets an extra-big one. We're a bit concerned about chew toys now, because it's said that even they have been found with elevated lead levels! How is Lucky doing? Has his treatment started yet? Holding healing thoughts for him (you too!).

I am a member of the Petco club and the Club sent me a certificate for 20% off, a couple of weeks ago. I did some early Holiday shopping and got Lucky and Goldie each a giant smoked thigh bone, a big knuckle bone and two of those hooves each. The thigh bone is almost as long as Goldie! I'm going to take some pictures of this-it should be hilarious. Pepper and Buttons are outside/under the house cats so I got them a few pouches of the Max Cat wet cat food. I did make them a nice cozy spot in the crawl space which is 4' tall. I wish they'd tame down enough to make them house cats but they love to be petted but freak as soon as confined or if I try to pick either up.

I cook breakfast for our border collie sometimes...and this morning I shared hotdogs with the whole gang! I didn't eat them...blick!...but I gave them to the 3 dogs and one cat outdoors. I would NEVER give the indoor kitty hotdogs....he is too old for that sort of thing! LOL! Read between the lines there! PU! We don't really celebrate holidays as a family..but I LOVE spoiling our animals with little surprises.

Nan, my dogs are spoiled, much like 2 yr olds. They sit by the dining room table whenever I haul groceries in, waiting to see what Mom brought them. If I fail to get something for them(it can be a simple cookie, it just has to be something), they go pout on the bed.
