Do you buy your dog sweaters for the winter?
Millie has about 7 sweaters and 2 coats.
One day her papaw was over here waiting on a UPS delivery for me. It wa a cold day. I told him if he let Millie out be sure and put a sweater on her. He said, "I am not putting a sweater on a dog." I never put sweaters on my dogs and they were outside dogs. I laughed because I knew he wowuldn't. I said then don't let her out she has paper down if she needs it.

I don't on mine but I'm thinking I really should have one on Goldie. She doesn't have the thick coat that Lucky has and although she doesn't seem to mind the cold, when she comes back in, she's so darn cold-even her belly is cold and I don't leave them out in the yard more than 10 min in this weather. I have a whole bunch of dog clothes patterns; I'm thinking of trying to make some; both for Goldie and also to sell. I could 'girly' up Goldies.

Ours obviously don't because they are bigger dogs, but when my dd was around 11 years old she went through a phase where she was throwing her t-shirts on our dog. She put a sweater on the dog one winter when the kids and dog was playing out in the snow, thinking it was cute, and the dog hit the electric fence and fried her sweater, lol. Dog was unhurt....but it was really weird to have the dog come back to us and the back of the sweater was scorched.
