Do you find your dogs hate going out when it's raining. Neither of mine want to go out if it's raining; it doesn't matter if it's a wintery rain or a nice warm summer rain-they hate it! I've watched Lucky 'hold it' for the whole evening rather than go outside. Goldie will run out, pee and run back in but Lucky will just sleep till it quits raining.

Gosh I almost wish mine didn't like the rain, but they do. I guess that is when the best mud puddles develop, lol. Why do dogs like drinking from mud puddles when they have nice fresh water in a bowl? lol

Only Goldie likes drinking from odd spots-she's my toilet water connaisseur as well as the dog that goes out and tries to get water from the frozen solid 5 gal bucket that was under the eve. Of course, there's multiple water bowls, all clean and filled daily plus 2 of the gallon ice cream buckets full of water-I like to be over stocked on pet water in case the pump would go out. Lucky prefers his water fresh from the tap.

Millie hates to go out if it is raining. She will look and me and look out her doggie door. Then I will say "You don't have to go" Then she will come back in. We do this about 3-4 times until I remember to put her sweater on (even in the summer) then she will run out and run back in. She won't go until I put a sweater on her.
