DeShea Villoch to teach at 2006 AEA National Convention
Prize winning egg artist DeShea Villoch has agreed to teach emu egg carving classes at the American Emu Convention in Madison, WI in July 2006. Visit www.dshae.com to see examples of Mrs. Villoch’s work. Although the classes are open enrollment and students do not have to be a member of the AEA in order to participate, pre-registration is required. The cost of the class is $50.00 payable prior to the cut off date of May 28, 2006.
Two classes will be held Thursday, July 13; one class will be held on Friday afternoon, July 14 and two classes will be held on Sunday, July 16. Morning classes will start at 8:00 am and end at noon. Afternoon classes will start at 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. There will be breaks mid-way through the class to coincide with the rest of the convention breaks.
Classes will be limited to ten. Students will bring their own electric multi speed dremel with a flex shaft and a facemask; burrs will be supplied.
This class is a Super Value at $50.
3 1/2 hours of class instruction ($35)
During the class, the following will be supplied for you to use:

2.) Face mask ($2)
3.) 2 smooth surfaced emu eggshells ($20)
4.) Transfer paper (tracing) ($2)
5.) White pencil or plumber's chalk ($2)
