I am hoping I am not alone, for that would make me "The Queen of Unfinished Projects". When I moved last summer, I re-organized all my sewing/quilting/craft projects. I admit to getting bored with what I am working on, start something new...If I never start anything new again, I don't know if I honestly could finish all these partially done projects in my lifetime...Well, not quite that bad. More like, if I set out about this task right now, I would have more then enough gifts for next Christmas, something for everyone. Am I the only one? Deb

Naw, I'm starting to think the folks that DO finish their projects are the odd ones!! Does that sound like a good rationalization for my procrastination-'they're the ones with a problem; the rest of us are A-ok!!' I still have a cross stitch Christmas project that I started in 1974 and it's still not done!! Now that's procrastination!!! ;D

Thank you, Kathy. That makes me feel a bit better. I think it's more that I would rather be working outside if the weather is anything above freezing. Deb

Well,, I spin yarn. Now have lots of it. Other having one of my Great Aunts make Hubby a sweater. I Haven't been able to make the rest of the yarn into anything else yet. Love spinning, is such a peaceful thing to do!!
Also have a counted Cross stitch I have been working on for 10+ years. Cute little garden with a bird bath and a sort'a hidden cat. Might be 70 years old before I finish it. <LOL>
Did finish the painting of the penguin. Felt good about that.
Have picked out what I want to paint next,, but haven't started it yet.

My girls tease me all the time about that, not just with my quilting and crafting, but my home improvement projects. I seem to get bored or restless, or as I prefer to call it...inspired. They clear their throat as they say at 9:30 at night...Ah, Mom, you are taking out another wall...Why don't you finish this other project first? Because I am in the mood...That's all. My worst haunting thought...What if someday I die and someone has to inherit all my unfinished business? Each new year, I vow I will turn over a new leaf, yet, it never quite seems to happen. Deb

Hi guys! None of you are alone in any of this. I actually have a zillion projects to finish and more in my head to start. I think my oldest unfinished object (UFO) is a sweater I designed and began knitting for my now ex husband about 1 year before we got divorced. It is a beautiful Salish Indian Sweater I designed and everything on it is finished except 1 3/4 sleeves. Somewhere in the way back of my mind I think if I finish it I will have to give it to him, NO WAY!!!! It fits me perfectly, so I really need to finish it and begin wearing it. Only problem is I can't find what I did with the decrease sequence of the sleeves, darn. I may have to re-figure the whole thing.
So, nope you're not alone

Oh thank goodness, I'm not the only one! That being said how many of you take over other peoples unfinished projects?( as if I don't have enough of my own to finish)
