Here are some spindles I made in the past. They just need hooks put into the tops.
These were made for Silk or Angora Rabbit fur and are light weight.
At any craft store you can get Wooden wheels for Toys and wooden dowls to just fit into the wheel holes. Use wood glue.
You want the dowls about 12" long.
Then sand and paint.
You will also need one wood screw hook to go into the top when finished.
