I think sometimes I am googled challenged. I'm looking for a pattern to make kneehigh moccassins. Nothing fancy, just lace up moccassins. If you know of a place on the net, or even a craft store that would have them I'd love to know. Thanks

The second pattern will work. I was hoping to find one with the gatherings on the top of the foot instead of around the side because for winter it is better and this one is like that. Okay, I am so excited now, should be pretty easy to extend it up to my knee. I got a package from my cousin on Friday and it was moose hide because I had told him that I rather have that then deer hide for the moccassins. Woohoo, I also have some beaver pelt with fur that I can use for the top. Thanks so much Bergere!!

You are welcome.
I know the type you are talking about. Will see if I can find a pattern. If not,, then you can make up those... but with adjustments. Just use some cheap cloth the first time to try it out. That way you don't waste any Moose hide.

Thanks Ree...I do like those. Front laces are so much easier and comfy. I figure I can try a few patterns, that way I don't have to hang all the skins on the wall. I'm afraid people are going to start talking with they start thinking all the animal pelts are wallpaper. Btw, Welcome to the forum. Nice to have new people join us.
