I originally put this on HT and I got some interest and then they just quit corresponding so I am assuming they changed their minds. So here it is for a limited time. I will place this on ebay no later than Thursday morning.
I bought my stepfather a lift for his minivan. He was having to use one of those powered chairs. It is made by Bruno and is a Bruno VSL Curb-Sider. It is remote controlled. It will rotate raise lower etc 180 degrees via pressing a button on the remote. It is adjustable for height and also the length of the boom is adjustable. It can be mounted in a full size van or a minivan. Back doors or side door either one. We have it in a Dodge Caravan. It attaccs to the chair with straps that have a buckle like a set belt. If your chair doesnt have the corresponding male connector on it you can buy them at any auto parts store for about 8 dollars. Or you can buy an adapter from Bruno for a few bucks. I have also seen these lifts used to lift heavy things into a vehicle. Its basically a high dollar cherry picker lift. This lift was used to lift the chair he had less than a dozen times before the van in question lost a transmission and then shortly afterwards he was placed in a nursing home. This lift cost me almost 2 grand. I paid three hundred to have it installed not knowing what all would be involved only to find out it can be installed in less than two hours with nothing more than a couple wrenchs. This lift will operate off of your battery. Its electric. I wish I could describe it better. Here is a link to the site for bruno and it has some video clips you can watch. Go to the bottom of the page at this link and click on the video. I have no need for it and its just sitting there when a disabled person could be using it. Even if you arent disabled it could be used to load items into a vehicle or even in your shop. Like I said I have almost 2,000 invested. Heres my offer. If I remove it from the van and you pick it up its 300. If I have to ship it will be 300 plus shipping.(it will fit in a box about like a bicycle box when removed and weighs about 60 pounds) If you come and remove it from the van and pick it up I will let it go for 250. Thats 1/8th the original price. I want to see someone use this thing. I know someone somewhere desparately needs one and cant pay 2 grand for one. I have seen a few on ebay missing parts heavily used etc go for over 500 so this is a steal.
I will consider trades of equal value items ie guns etc.
The lift is located 8 miles north of Jasper Alabama on Pine Dale Shores Rd zip code 35504 if you want to see how far it is.
Put the word out and help me help someone. We will all feel better for it in the long run
